Standard Financial Scam alert

I got a letter from Standard Financial Inc out of Nova Scotia that says this:

We are please to inform you that you are one of the winners in the second category of the USA Mega (under the international Sweepstake) Draw held on March 14th, 2008. The ENTRY SLIP with serial number ####### attached to your name matched the first five lucky winning numbers....

Standard financial has been assigned by the international sweepstake organization to inform the winners and pay them off their winnings. Payment will be made by a CERTIFIED CHECK, which will be delivered by our special courier company.

Enclosed is a check in the amount of US $4,750.00 which is provided to help you pay for the taxes and is payable to your taxa agent....

You are advised to contact your claims agent: Brian Scott @ ####-###-#### Monday-Friday: 10am - 5pm to start your claim processing and to activate your check. NOTE: Please do not act on this notice until you contact your claims agent to avoid cases of misappropriation and mishandling of prize monies.

I know it was a scam, I knew it was before I even got on google. I don't every actually enter sweepstakes so there's no way I could win one. The check is really pretty, though. Anyway, I'm going to take the letter & check to Chase and show them it maybe they can yell at these people or something. Oh, and their "special curier company" was the USPS. Not even something awesome like FedEx.

Link to someone else that got it.
