Loveless' Sausage Gravy

I got this off the Loveless website, I keep hoping they'll mess up and put their biscuit recipe up.

1/2 lb pork sausage
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1 c milk
salt to taste
1/2 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp cayenne pepper

In skillet over medium heat cook the sausage and crumble into small pieces. Add the flour and cook for 5 minutes. Add the milk and bring to a simmer. Add salt, black pepper, and cayenne peper. Stir until blended.

Serve with biscuits, grits, or both.
